Terms of sale
1. Seller and scope
These terms govern all sales made on Galerie Segura between La Refonte LLC (1603 Capitol Avenue, Suite 413A, Cheyenne, WY 82001, États-Unis), the "seller", and any person placing an order, the "buyer". Contact: contact@galerie-segura.com · +33 6 18 14 03 10. Placing an order means accepting the terms in force on that day.
2. The pieces
The pieces sold are antique or second-hand. Each listing describes the actual piece sold: maker and model when established ("attributed" when the signature is not legible), dimensions, condition and recorded flaws (chip, scratch, wear). Normal signs of use on an antique piece are not defects. A piece belonging to a set (pair, suite, service) is sold with the set described.
3. Prices
Prices are in euros. No VAT is charged: the seller is established outside the European Union and is not VAT registered. Shipping costs are added to the price; they depend on the destination and on the order amount and are shown before payment (see the Shipping page). For deliveries outside the European Union, any customs duties and import taxes are paid by the buyer.
4. Order and payment
The buyer adds the pieces to the cart, enters an address, chooses the delivery offered for that country and pays by card (or Apple Pay / Google Pay depending on the device) through Stripe. The amount is charged when the order is placed. The sale is concluded once payment is confirmed; a summary e-mail is sent to the buyer. The payment appears on the bank statement under the name of the seller's Stripe account (SEGUROV LIMITED LLC).
As the pieces are unique or in limited quantity, the stock shown is the current one. Should a paid piece turn out to be unavailable, the buyer is informed and fully refunded within 14 days.
5. Delivery
The pieces are packed piece by piece and shipped from Pau, France with tracking within 3 business days of payment. Indicative transit times: 1 to 3 business days in France, 3 to 6 in the European Union and Switzerland, 4 to 8 in the United Kingdom, 5 to 15 elsewhere. Some countries are not served; they are not offered at checkout. Details are on the Shipping page.
On delivery, the buyer checks the parcel. Any breakage or damage must be reported to contact@galerie-segura.com within 48 hours, with photos of the parcel and the pieces, keeping the packaging. If delivery is more than 30 days late, the buyer may cancel the order and be refunded.
6. Right of withdrawal and returns
The buyer has 14 days from delivery to withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason, by writing to contact@galerie-segura.com with the order number. This right is guaranteed to consumers in the European Union; the seller grants it on the same terms to all buyers.
The piece is sent back within 14 days of the withdrawal, in the condition in which it was received and carefully packed. Return shipping is paid by the buyer. The seller refunds the price and the initial delivery costs (at the standard rate) within 14 days of the withdrawal, using the original means of payment, and may withhold the refund until the piece is received. A piece damaged during the return because of insufficient packing may lead to a deduction. The full procedure is on the Returns page.
7. Warranties
For consumers in the European Union, the pieces are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects of French law (for a second-hand item, a defect appearing within 12 months is presumed to have existed on delivery). Flaws described on the listing and the normal wear of an antique piece are not covered.
8. Personal data
Order data are used to perform the sale and meet legal obligations. Details are in the privacy policy.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. In case of difficulty, the buyer first writes to contact@galerie-segura.com to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute is brought before the competent courts.
